Love this!
And yes Komodo will support Anamorphic.. But "slimmest" "smallest " "least bulky" are all hard to use in the same sentence when you are talking about proper anamorphic.

But this is a great example of the utility discussion.

Some people will look at the photo below and say

" Yes! that's great I can just fit that into the Heli Gimbal or on the Russian arm to get that one shot "

and then a whole lot of other people will say

" Yes! that's great! I want to shoot my entire movie with that "
Both are correct answers.

The first one is why we made it. The 2nd one is likely how it will be used 1000x more than the first.

Love the flexibility, but for my purposes I’ll be trying to keep this thing as compact as possible. I’m curious to see AF performance and image quality. It’s a very interesting little camera.

Does anyone know if the Hydrogen discount has a time limit? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the tease Jarred...you’ve been fairly disciplined on the over-cranking, but what about frame rates below 24? Could we time lapse at 1 FPS?

Hopefully you can order from different colors from the RGB wheel.

I will take two orange if Glow in the Dark green isn't available (lol)

And where is the monitor in this Pic (hoping to see H1 attached)?

I haven’t been this excited and impressed by a camera in a long time. Komodo is really going to make a lot of people happy RED owners. Can’t wait.

That's totally what I'm expecting.
And I don't want to offense anyone but if it shoots GREAT 24fps, I'm in !

You should be good then. Pretty safe to say after beating on the stormtrooper all day today you can expect full sensor 6k 40fps, 6k WS @ 50fps. Which means 4k @60fps shouldn't be a problem, but I have not actually tested that yet. And yes, that's all in global shutter mode.

That's tasty information

Why hello there.

That's better than I expected! So 5K @ 50fps would be a reasonable assumption? Is there a rolling shutter mode, and will that enable faster frame rates?

O yeah and to complete Gregorys 3 wishes...

Tremblay still tweaking but the UI is already pretty awesome.
