  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I saw the V-Raptor got updated with the new R3D ELQ setting. On the framesToDataRate tool from Phil Holland you can see that this setting will half the total datarate in comparison to the LQ setting.
For my kind of work this would be very welcome. Does anyone know / hear something about the Komodo being updated with this setting?

Yes. Heard that it's being worked on for Komodo for around a Fall 2022 firmware release.
 
That's great news. I don't think I'd use it often, but would be nice not to have to switch cameras for the occasional super long take...
