Kipper Tie IR Filters

[Manfred Baulig]

Hi,

I would like to shoot with the IR Pass Filter, but Red offers only the filter for DSMC. So I looked into Kipper Tie and asked on there site which OLPF I should use for my 8K Helium, but got no response. Whats the difference between all the different IR Filters. Maybe someone has a few examples showing the differene.

very nice and informative FAQ John !

In addition, Manfred if you have not read it yet, worth checking "EXPLORING INFRARED CINEMATOGRAPHY", one of the many great articles part of "RED 101" :
