  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Yes Adam,

I have restructured the entirety of our Megaproject initiative "KETCH ROSSi TREE of LiFE" and now the Film School (actually the name of the school is a different one, that I'll announce in do time, and it is not just an other Film School) has become a direct product of our Non-Profit Organization "KETCH ROSSi HUMANiTAS.org".

For this there will be up to 100 Scholarships per Year and can't wait to make that big thread about it and start bringing Students form all over the World to Italy for an entire Year at the time... ;)

He he, no need to race Brett, you know you are in already... But all Students will need 3 things just to get started...


1) Have the obligatory School finished. This is accordingly of your Country of Citizenship as we will not be able to accept any one without an original certifica of completion of such education.

2) A clean record. Do to the fact that we'll accept "UNDER AGE" as Students , we need to insure that no one which has had any legal issues with the Law in relation to any crime and or convictions of Drugs and or Violence and Thievery can't be accepted.

3) Get an Open Round trip ticket. Do to the high demand that we know we'll have and limited spaces, and the fact that this will be around 100k Scholarships worth per Student, with all expenses paid for the entire year, we'll demand the absolute best each student has to give, and we'll send back home any one that does not comply with School regulations, at any time during the Scholar year, without possibility to return.

This is very generous Ketch! I know there will be a lot more considerations to whittle the large list of possible students down to a few.

I really wish you the best as you begin manufacturing lenses and helping others.

Thanks Adam, however while we will help others thru the School, the lenses will be manufactured and sold for profit, even so I do firmly believe they will also end up helping in the creation of better images... ;)

As for the Scholarships via our Non-Profit Organization, I simply wish to really bring all those opportunities I never got, to as many as I can, so that they can embrace their passion in the arts before their life is almost over, and of course yes, we will be very careful and the list is not too long but surely is a list to reckon with insuring that we create a safe and best environment for all the Students during the year that they will spend at the School, were each year with a new wave of students of various age and nationality groups, we create a giant family life style were every one loves and helps each other looking out for each other and bringing forward one an other in the pursue of the Arts, with great respect.

Pls keep going with your aspiration. You are a role model of commitment and perseverance to me and I guess many others. I would be delighted to invested in some Ketch rossi lenses. You know a thing or two about glass ;) I'm sure you will do ana amzing job.

On another note - I was trying for a post you wrote a while ago about the filters you use. I looked for it but couldnt find it. I am very interested in the filters you use for your look.

I'll be creating a new section on our site dedicated entirely to Reviews, which will host both videos and still images, to showcase the How To, and Why... We'll be sure to include one on Filters as well.

Have been waiting a very long time in seen this work I have Directed and shot with my Crew, Joe Jenning, John Nash, Tony Augustinack and Joseph Hutson, made public, and very happy at last it is.

Even so I wish it was graded accordingly with my wish as I have envisioned once I tucked this job I was chosen for, I am happy it is now here for every one to enjoy.

I can't thank enough the Hosts in Dubai and every one that collaborated and worked with me on this job, during the last two months of 2011.

All of our RED EPIC cameras, performed incredibly well, form the extreme high altitudes and winds during the Parachuting action on Joe's head, to the heat and dusty environment of the Desert, to the shores of Sky dive Dubai sea waters and mist to th efreezen temperatures of the DubaiSky Mall, just solid as aRock, love this camera!!


Joe Jenning did incredible work in the Skydiving shoots.

John Nash, Joseph Hutson, Tony Augustiinack did a great job on land in shooting with me all other footage you'll see here

Also credits for the Main Edit to Tony and Joseph.

And an other thanks to Ron form Maxx Digital for providing the Storage gear on a moment's notice.


Any ways, I'm very happy and proud I was chosen to do this job, and even happier that I put together such a great team, and the final work reflects exactly that, our collaboration as professionals assisted by an insane location, that is DUBAI, and the people there that treaded all of us as if we were Royalties, I will never forget such Gracious hospitality during the couple of months it tucked to do this.
