  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Ketch + Epic + Canon Mount

It's a right time that somebody can make a high quality switcher between LCD and EVF for EPIC!!!
 
You lucky Ketch !!!! I'm sure being there with the canon mount, you're gonna take some amazing shots !

But pleaaase don't forget to tell us about your impressions on the mount functionnality ! ;)

Wait. You were 2km from my house with an EPIC M and only the second canon electronic mount and you didn't call me!!!!????????

Sorry guys,

i think i missed the news regarding the solution for remote motion focus pullin using the integrated motors in the canon lenses.

Is there something in the cooking?

Price, delivery?

I hope you don't mind, but can you (or someone who knows) quickly list your exact setup in the photo. What extra items/accessories/addons you have on your Epic M. I really like that setup in the photo and don't want to order anything I don't need to. :-)

Today this is one of the most crowded wedding place for photo and video shooting in Florence, also in Italy.

Great place to get pretty good wedding jobs.

Instead of RED PRO 5.0 could be mounted maybe TV Logic 5.6 and do more things with many of South Korean wedding shootings that so often take place there...

Ketch when you are finished with Canon L glass tests let me know if you would need maybe some of Leica R lenses to test on EPIC-M with Novoflex EOS/L adopter.

Sanjin, unfortunatley I am not a fan of anything else form Leica then the new S2 glass, even the new Cine lenses are some what a disappointment,
and for this for now I stay with my Master Primes, but S2, now that is a glass I am looking forward to use on Epic as well, but now back to CANON!!

Thanks Frank,

count on having a very detail, set of videos and picks, and quotes on this Mount, this is after all something I have used for the good part of over 22 years of Photography,
so I know well what to expect form it, but I can already say that I am IMPRESSED very very much by the first looks and trials of this Mount,
so... Images will be forthcoming for sure, and not just a few... ;)

Ha ha, David, sorry about not been able to be together earlier with the EPIC, BUT... great to see you and thanks for some of the shots that you tucked!!

And yeah both made in CALIFORNIA... ;) I can't actually believe at times that I am finally back home, and now in Florence, with my Beast of a truck, he he.

what I have is the Brain (Dah) the top handle, the Side Handle Grip, the 5" LCD PRO, the Bomb EVF, One Red LCD/EVF Cable to hot swap form LCD to EVF,
the Brooks/VF FMJ Top Plate, the Spinner, slider in to the Top Mount PRO, this is a Prototype Matt give me before I came to Italy not on sale at the Store, the Bottom Epic Plate which snaps on to the Quick release Pro Dovetail, a REDVOLT Battery ion side the side grip, and oh, yeah THE RED ELECTRONIC CANON MOUNT... he he

He he, there will be some of those as well, but this Mount will see a large variety of material in various undisclosed locations, so be ready for some serious load of material... ;)
