  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

That would be fun, getting cameras based on birthdays instead of timestamp :D
 
Good News Guys!

My Weapon MG arrived Friday! I was allocated Thursday. It feels like a dream!...Thanks to Jarred, Brent, Nick, and Dan! I'm really happy to be part of the RED family. RED has earned a lifetime customer for sure. Now to get my loaner back to Irvine so it can get into the hands of another Reduser in need. Have a good weekend and happy Fathers Day everyone! If you are waiting on a camera, don't worry there is light at the end of the tunnel!

So great to hear that the oven is cooking ;) Enjoy the Mg experience, can't wait to write soon the exact same thing as you did :)
 
Maybe we will see some Scarlet-W allocations today or atleast this week hehe

is this a joke? email from red? what does japan have to do with it?
 
I think it's BS. I can't imagine that kind of info being sent by a bombsquad before an official word here.
 
I spoke with Dom over at WRS who's the RED authorized dealer for the D.C. area. He said he spoke with Travis @ Red and he said the quake in Japan has set back EVERYTHING, sensors and circuit boards and that no cameras will be going out until September.
 
Is this real? Jarred or Brent want to chime in?

If that's true, many orders likely won't go out in 2016.
 
The Sony sensor facilities located in Japan took a hit in May after a very large earthquake.

This part is true but I believe the only vendors that were affected were Apple, Sony, Phase One and Hasselblad.

There are tons of articles about this earthquake on the web already.

Not a single mention about Red sensors... FYI
