Great shots Joseph.

Keep em coming. I'm really inspired by this!

Really great stuff Joseph...I love the night shots of the artists on the pier. The last gig I was on, the producers wanted me and my steadicam on the pier getting shots covert style. I was able to grab some great material with the stereo cam, but was completely dodging the po-bo the whole time! What was your sense of the attention you were getting with the Epic at these locations on the pier and VB?
Thanks for the stills...
Eli

I find it funny that the advatages everyone wants RED to pursue are the ones they happen to qualify for. I'm going to be a little more general: I think RED will always remember those people who jumped in and put down some hard earned cash at the same time they were being called a "scam". As for what stage, who kept the camera, who sold the camera.. That's all business, and what people do to make a living. What matters is loyality, and a believe in people dispite what others may say.

We, all of us, knows who is part of the RED family, and who is not. But there should be no special requirement. Except Loyality.

As I read these words I come to realize that it does not even matter when someone signed up.. It just matter that when they did, they jumped all in, and wanted to become a part of "our family".

All are welcome.

Great stuff Joseph... keep it coming. That's great you got the Epic-M because you'll be sharing and caring for the community, and we love to see how these Canon lenses work on the Epic.

From tonight's shoot in Downtown LA...

Thanks to Mike Hedge for lending me a set of 5 Canon Lenses and for introducing me to Mac
Thanks to Miguel de Olaso, "Macgregor" for driving his Porsche
Thanks to Karim Belkasemi for his assistance

dang joseph man look at you go. So unbelievably awesome seeing your work spring up at such a fast rate. In 10 years you are own hollywood :D

i love the shot of the car, i just finished a teaser for a car video i did for a friend but i am uber jealous of your epic images.

oh. i just turned 21. I got some catching up to do :D

Dang, I'm 23 and have a student loan close to the value of your epic...maybe I choose the wrong path?;P Anyways...rock on!

I think that goes for a lot of people, the problem is that not as many can secure that kind of loan if it wasn't for studentship purposes. It bugged me when I was doing my masters degree that I managed to get a good solid loan for the course but at the time would not have had a cat in hell chance of just getting a loan for any kit. Hard work and perseverance has been paying off in the last few years though.

Loving the shots Joseph, especially the night ones. Keep posting.

Just keep yourself and the camera safe out there in the wild.

Does this mean you no longer want to buy a Scarlet? Can we take your place in the queue? :P

I'm not aware of a queue that I could have already entered...so I'd have to say that there is no place to give. ;)

However, with that much being said, I look to add the Scarlet to my arsenal.

You don't always want to drive your Rolls Royce around. Sometime you want to take your Mini Cooper to the Supermarket...

Mini-cooper.. psh... what about a Geo Metro?
