  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Then my eyes traveled just left of the beer, and that was just perfect two.

Freudian slip? Yes, two of them. Perfect.

Good catch Jeff.
Wow, I usually don't do that... ever.
Sorta funny though.

Just got reminded today why I love RED so much. Had a hiccup with the camera yesterday, a fan speed issue. I filed a support request last night, and emailed Deanan as well. Deanan was sending me new firmware at midnight and again another update earlier today.

New firmware seems to have fixed my glitch. Having direct access to guys like this for a product like this is just amazing. I'll take this any day over the other cameras out there...

Congrats Jeff! Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

I was just a few days in the wild and I missed this thread!!!
Congratulations Jeff!!! You promised on some of my posted threads, you will do time lapse tests when you get your Epic-M...we will be waiting…. ;-)

Jeff, Why am I so excited you got an Epic-M?

Thanks again, everyone.

Yep... Some waiting here, too. As was pointed out in Tom Lowe's thread, there's no long exposure functionality just yet. For now, all we can do is throw away tons of frames in post. I did some experimenting with night sky/astro photography last night and once earlier last week. Results seemed promising, but I was just in my back yard, I need to take the camera elsewhere to get away from all the light pollution.

Jeff, Why am I so excited you got an Epic-M?

I don't know. And why am I more excited about the EPIC now than I was when I first got it? Seriously, I am. This camera is all kinds of awesome.

Oh, look... balloons.

Boulder...

This was a dry run, testing for something else coming up in a few weeks. :)

Oh, REDVOLT... How I need you!

I clamped the battery plate to a rail in the basket. But yeah, it was in my pocket the rest of the time. :(
