  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Is there a GlobalMediaPro resaler in the US? So I don't need to ship from China?

Just wondering if there is a re-branded GMP reseller in the US?

Ditto Lowell-
cheaper, free charger, free shipping, instant $ transfer, less hassle for _identical_ battery product, plus ebay has your back on the purchase.

Interestingly enough they're all more expensive than the GMP batteries, which are 160WH at 270dollars.. but im sure ill get hit with tax's over border?

With GMP you have to do wire transfer which costs you money. Also the one you are talking about doesn't give the percentage read out. The GMP battery that does costs about $299. These costs $50 more, also designed for RED, you don't need a wire transfer, the shipping is free, and you get support along with a warranty which GMP doesn't have. I haven't bought from them, but for the few extra dollars you have to spend, I think it's worth it. I don't know what Canada charges for taxes.

Anyone have issues using these brands on a RED BACKPACK QUICKPLATE?

I will be using a mix of RED BRICKS and third party.

I was a little tentative the first time I ordered from GMP, but pulled the trigger anyway. There were no hidden fees or costs and I received the batteries very quickly. Other than some odd Chinese paperwork and the wire transfer it was like any other purchase. The batteries work great and it shows the voltage as well as has a button on the side with lights indicating what is left in the battery. I have been very happy with the performance of the batteries.

Curious, when you purchase these batteries from China/Hong Kong do you have any hidden cost like customs charge for shipping to US?

Depends on the size of your order. I didn't have any import charges. I think as long as the order is under $1,000 (or $2,000?) you're fine in the US. They arrive very quickly once shipped.

Anyone have any experience using these along with RED BRICK and CHARGER?

I just got my first set of BRICKs and would like to add the GMPs for rentals.

I get % with mine and LED lights on the side also. Both seems like they are good batteries.

That's what counts.

When you say Mine, Which ones do You Have, The GMP (wiretransfer), The EBAY, Or the US GMP Store? I would like to know so I can Order mine ASAP
