  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Is there a GlobalMediaPro resaler in the US? So I don't need to ship from China?

For Sure. The Ebay Purchase Page said Expected Delivery from JAN 2nd to the 10th.. I assume its because of the Holiday.

I was considering GMP as well until i read all those negative reviews on resellerratings. Seems like people are out of luck when it comes to support.

Global media Pro don't have resellers, they deal with all direct and with payment by transfer only. They ship worldwide and their products are top notch. I have just ordered their specially made Red batteries for my Scarlet. These show charge level on the touch screen and come with d-taps too.

So long you have a redvolt in your side handle you can always hot swap.

Maybe I'm missing something here...but I thought all of you wanted to know a non-Chinese supplier or seller in the US!?!

With GMP you have to do wire transfer which costs you money. Also the one you are talking about doesn't give the percentage read out. The GMP battery that does costs about $299. These costs $50 more, also designed for RED, you don't need a wire transfer, the shipping is free, and you get support along with a warranty which GMP doesn't have. I haven't bought from them, but for the few extra dollars you have to spend, I think it's worth it. I don't know what Canada charges for taxes.

What are the extra costs that GMP are charging? I heard wire transfer, shipping, duty, taxes and brokerage fees. What would I be looking at?
 
Am I the only one seeing this (perhaps my assumption is wrong) but GMP offering seems to the same than Mg1. That is same product product, just different branding? And for the U.S client consolidating the slight higher cost of Mg1 with GMP slightly higher shipping charge - It almost even out (slight advantage to GMP).

A lot of companies do. I can't speak for MG1 but I'm totally stoked with my package. Our 160wH are working out beautifully - 3+ hours, I get % data out of these bad boys.

Elite program rocks!!!

Caden, That is excellent (reference) news for me as I am about to purchase from Mg1 this week - Did you get the "MG1 V-mount or AB Dual Battery Charger"? for your set - I am trying to figure out which way to go since they also have a "Blueshape battery charger"
 
Try to buy product (batt and charger) from MG1 and it does not allow transaction cause "out of stock condition" - Try to email for info, no reply - Try to call a couple of times and only get VM.

At this time I am probably go with GMP and deal with the Bank transfer thingy - I need the goodies sooner than later
