Yeah, I thought so... But could it be reduced in a CNR style step (which happens pre-demosaic) mayhap?

Not really. It's highly non-linear and tricky to predict exactly would visually correlate scene lights to sensor result in a way that it could be nulled out.

I assume for this to filter down to FCPX, we must wait for an update to the Apple Workflow Installer? Is this usually updated at the same time as Redcine release version?

After a few months now is this implemented into Resolve? Is there any confirmation for this? I do all my processing of Red through Resolve so would be good to know if this is the case.
