Hi Guys,

Many of you have heard that we are manufacturing a 3rd revision of the well known and popular CINEfocus Follow Focus. I am pleased to say that CAD Design is finished and production has started.

Both Single & Dual Sided versions will be available (single sided version is easily upgradable at a later stage).

The final price is still to be confirmed but it should be around £399.00 (GBP) ex VAT & Shipping for the single sided version and around £529.00 (GBP) ex VAT & shipping for the dual sided version. We hope to have this released in January.

Also, we have just released our Cine Base Plate r2, with or without Raiser (the Raiser version as pictured is a great 15mm studio solution for RED cameras:

We are also running a '10% Off All Orders' offer this month!

Hi Guys,

At the moment the plan is not to take pre orders, but first come first server once we release it.

Yes, the gear direction of travel is reversible, for Nikon lenses. We designed the gearbox to flip around its own centre axis, which reverses the gear direction.

Wayne, great job on the design of this. May I humbly recommend that you re-release or redesign and release the 19mm to 15mm bridge that you used to carry. This would be nice for people who use this stuff with 19mm rods.

Hi Phil,

Funny you should say that as we have decided to offer the 15mm to 19mm Rod Adapter again.

I am just about to place the order for it with the supplier so we should have it in stock again around the release date of the CINEfocus r3 in January.

I've got two of them, one I use nearly everyday to convert my OConnor O-Box WM to a swing away matte box.

Also to mention that it's likely the most cost effect bridge out there.

Same here, the R2 is still one of my faves, I was actually looking for it today, things work in mysterious ways :) Thanks for the update

Would like to see a demo video.. very interested in this one. Holding off an order for a ff till I see a video or read some reviews though i.m sure its a well designed product. If its as good as it looks it will be one of the best value ff in the market. Good job.

Phil,
I would appreciate an image showing it in use to make the O Box to a swing away matte box. It will be of help.

Well I've cancelled my order for the Tilta studio follow focus off the back of these images looking like pretty much everything I want/need, and my past experience with buying the R2. Now to count the days until release..

How can we order?

Hi Wayne. Great design!
I remember the great quality of the original version. Later I moved to Arri MFF2 cause I needed reversible gear option.
I would gladly jump back if you provide an easy/economical way to have both 1:1 and 1:2 ratios on the same follow focus (shooting both my Leica-R and rented cinema lenses).
Cheers

Hi Guys,
