Just wondering what cool and cheap little tools you have all discovered and now can't be without for shoots.

My current fave is the 4x4 filter plate with an 82mm thread so I can use my existing screw-in IRND filters on the front stage of a mattebox

Also a big fan of the X-Rite passport color checker for a relatively inexpensive post-production reference.

Other than that my keyring screwdriver with a flat head just wide enough for baseplate screws gets used several times every shoot.

What inexpensive gadgets do you bring to every shoot?

@ Ben
Do they make this filter plate for 4X5.650?

What a great thread! For me, its these incredibly useful clip on hoods for 80mm fronts. Makes swapping out lens filtration btw lenses so much easier - the filters stay on these fronts, not on the lenses themselves! You can also remove the rubber hood and just use it as a clamp on ring...
