They're two halves of the same coin, I'd imagine. Get the tough work done on Epic and I bet Scarlet would be 80% there.

Very good point. Selfishly hoping for Scarlet first, but what can you do.

It is so hard to come to terms with Red's bottom line... "everything changes, including camera specs and release dates." They certainly function on their own terms, but I guess you need the sour to taste the sweet.

I think one thing we can count on, is first out will be Epic X. Red will want to reward loyal customers first. And then scarlet and Epic to new customers about a month later.

I guess manufacturing will dictate somewhat. If they are waiting for modules maybe fixed scarlet will be one of the first.

Should be an interesting month with all our questions asked. One, major one, How the heck do we buy one? Is everything coming through red?

Would prefer stores, because we Canadians will get hit with duties attached when mailed?

Am I right in assuming since the S35 Scarlet is also a 5K sensor, it will be the first Scarlet available?
