Beautiful work. It's funny how a simple shot like flipping the reeds reflecting in the water can be so unnerving. What glass did you use on the Shotover for the dolly zooms?

Thanks a lot!! Had a HR 25-250 w/ Duclos 1.6 Expander on the Shotover.

Tim,

Great work with some stunning compositions. I loved the "trombone" track/zoom of the metal framework. Did you use a IR filter along with Kippertie Full Spectrum OLPF ?

Thank you - yes, I used a deep yellow wratten filter for this. (if I remember correctly its a #12). Been using the Kolari IR Chrome filter since though and it produces much, much better results without the need of channel swap etc.

How did you feel about the Movi Carbon, especially in comparison to what the Shotover can accomplish?

Hi Chris - I think its an incredible development from a 3 axis gimbal (like Movi Pro), stability is pretty amazing. Shotover F1 is in its own league - price wise, weight and stabilization wise. But I think the Carbon is a great look into the future of what we will be able to achieve with bigger cameras (Monstro + mid sized zoom) and compact 5 Axis gimbals. I'd actually would be really interested in seeing it with a Komodo. For the time being that could be really, really interesting!!

This was stunning, thanks for posting.

Was this project always meant to encapsulate a city stuck in a pandemic, or did it change as the world changed in the last couple months?

You could ask the same thing about Claude Debussy and his great composition Claire de Lune:
