When running the Scarlet Camera via its AC Adapter, how long should I wait, after shutting down the camera, to unplug the adapter?

The reason I ask, is because it keeps telling me I unplugged it before it was shut down properly, and I don't know how that could be. I mean, it says "Shutting Down" on the screen, then goes blank. I should THEN be able to disconnect the power, but apparently not since I keep getting that message.

Is there a minimum period the shooter must wait before "disconnecting" the power to the camera, be it AC Adapter or Battery ??

Any help or advise, is appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

I have had this happen to me before only when I pulled the cord fairly quick. Try giving it an extra 5 seconds or so and you won't encounter the message

How are you shutting it down ? Via the menu interface or with a long press on the button ?

If the latter, make sure you do not keep it pressed for too long (stop when it says shutting down) else it will force shutdown the camera and warn on next boot... (It says 'improper shutdown' in that case)

Yup. Let go of the button as soon as the shutdown display is shown.
