  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

How do you program Epic user button 1 & 2?

Ok fine, as I am not THAT crazy...had me worried for a minute or 2. Not having the side handle or redmote yet makes me sad...

New EPIC firmware (1.79 beta) let's us set user buttons 1 & 2 !!!!
It also offers new options for button action and everything is much easier to set now (main submenu for choosing Brain/SSD/REDMode/SideHandle/LCD and more once the once I/O will be available)

1.79 is a GREAT update, the new EDGE and FOCUS option look like they will be quite useful too when a single operator has to pull focus and frame.

Me four, I thought I was just not smart enough as I haven´t been able to figure this out yet, good it´s not me, just that it isn´t possible yet.

Me 17... somebody should start a threat of basic things that are not operational yet... Like phantom power from the audio imports... or HDMI in all versions prior to build 1.79.

This would save a lot of time, frustration and reduce the paranoia factor.

Of course I haven't even finished reading the manual so what do I know :)
