Hey Ketch, sure you did, the Red One! Remember the free audio board upgrade? That blew me away at the time when they said they would replace it simply because it was better.

NEVER... Have I purchased anyhitng in my life were I have been asked to return the camera to the manufacturer so that I can get Mechanical and Physical upgrades to make my gear better... FOR FREE!!

It seems to me, and you may laugh or scoff, but at this weight... sporting a Canon or Nikon lightweight prime lens and the bare bones needed to shoot... it's sorta flyable with a 7lbs capacity Merlin Steadicam. Just barely. With the arm, of course. Not handheld.

Makes things... interesting.

These new heatsinks will go into all EPIC-X cameras... and EPIC-M customers will have theirs upgraded, for no charge.

When you say they "will go into all EPIC-X cameras, does that mean they are coming off the assembly line with the new heat sink...starting with #001? Or will there be a period of time in which the new heat sinks will not be implemented in the early stages of the X?

Also, at what point do you anticipate EPIC-M's to ship with the new heatsink by default?

He he, I should shave specified that as well, but what I really meant is that what RED has been doing with us, both from the RED ONE and now with EPIC M, is just "MIND BLOWING"...

It seems to me Jarred said ALL X's will get the new heatsink. Would be pretty odd to have to swap X heatsinks as well as M's.
