  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

GROUP BUY - Litepanels Gemini

Just ordered my lights too. I guess I was first in line for three lights....and pretty close on accessories which are backordered a bit...super psyched. Travis, thanks for putting this together and saving us all a ton of money!!!!
 
Did the Lightpanels people call or email? My phone is lousy with robocalls so I usually send everything to voicemail, wondering if I should pick up calls today lol.

In NYC adorama called me on behalf of litepanels.
 
Adorama called me on behalf of litepanels as well missed the call but also got email. I will sync back with them tomorrow and try to wrap up my order as well.
 
Adorama called me too, took care of the order details on the phone and it seems to all be set for shipment now. Snapbag was on backorder, but light and barndoors in stock.

I'm surprised more people don't jump on this deal. On Red.com the Gemini's are over $25k. I'm looking forward to the super lowlight performance and dual ISO. I might get a few more!
 
Yes, Adorama is fulfilling all orders from this group buy. A lot of you have lights on the way, the rest will be contacted very soon. Thanks for your patience and all of the kind messages and comments.

Can’t believe it. Mine are marked as on the truck for delivery today!
 
I got a call yesterday, but by today when I was able to get in contact with the rep everything, including the lights are back ordered. He said the list is growing, but I decided to wait until it was in stock before proceeding to give my credit card.
 
Three Geminis have landed. Got barn doors, other stuff on the way!!!

Was contacted by adorama today but was told everything was on backorder by up to a couple of months.. is this true? I had a couple of shoots lined up which made it feasible to purchase these :/

I got this directly from Adorama today.

"All Gemini’s will be delivered no later than next week most of the accessories are in stock and the ones that aren’t we’re working closely with Litepanels to have them delivered earlier."

EDIT: Nevermind order number just started working.

Thanks for the update Travis. The guy when he took my order gave me a order code and said an email invoice was on the way but I never received it and the order number he gave me does not seem to work at order tracking, sent them a message from the contact page and haven't gotten an email back. The charge definitely went through on my credit card. Seems a little odd I can't find the order even if it hasn't been shipped.
