Has anyone mounted 2 1x1s together?

I was wondering as i have had a stacked 2x1 setup (2x2 result) on set before...
Is it possible to gang/stack/mount whatever, two 1x1 Gemini panels?

Having the 1x1 panel is versatile but it would be great to fix them as a 2x1 when the need rises.

Beam angle is wider than the unit itself so for something like ganging 1X1s together, I wouldn't even use a special mount. Just put them on c-stands right next to each other and punch 'em through some hanging grid/muslin/magic cloth/whatevs. Also easy to mount side-by-side on the ceiling or off a grid to act as a larger source through some diffusing material.

I have the dual-yoke for my 2X1s but I almost never use it. Rather, I just use the lights near each other and it's much the same effect. You can get a cable to control both lights together or just do it manually. Pretty each to match color/output, etc...
