  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Group Buy: L'Aigle Exoskeleton

I'm In

I'd love to get some feedback from somebody who's actually used this thing. I'm curious to know how the weight is distributed on your body. Is the majority of weight around your waist and the shoulder harnesses just provide balance? Even though the weight is distributed across your arms I'm curious to know how your wrists hold up after a long period of time. With an Easyrig leaning slightly forward you get a dramatic shift in balance. I'm curious how this holds up to that same shift.

Thanks

Some of that is addressed in this video from IBC.

The system looks nice, but now the price is way more than 2000,-€. Hmmm?

...Yeah, R&D already paid in full by Equipois
A company owned by Garrett Brown, you know, the inventor of the Steadicam
Check their demonstration videos, as you can see some of them are 4 years old.
K.

Yes..practically 50% higher...and it looks to be based on steadicam arm tech. alone so how long
and what price could the clone companies reach on this...?
This pricing is I guess in the middle between higher end of Action Products and all the clones that will come along.
So then you have to decide to go all out..settle in the middle..or experiment with a cheapie.

In the IBC newshooter video the price mentioned by none other than the founder was 2500 euros. Now the MSRP is stated as 2890 euros. This group buy price for between 30 to 59 buyers matches the IBC quoted price.

Hmmm...might want to check your ears...it's no matter cause the price is what it is now...but in the video the inventor states 2,000 euros
at 4:40 and then the host repeats 2,000 euros at 7:06
But even with the first level group buy price and a reduced dollar/euro rate it winds up being just over 3k at $3043

Damn..after watching video again...really makes you want one...worst case..blow your neighbors minds and use it to take out the trash..

I seem to remember a target of 2,000 Euros was what was stated in the video.

EDIT: Just saw the actual pricing (was that added or did I just miss it the first time?). If those were dollars I'd be a bit more jazzed. I was hoping they'd hit the 2000 Euro target as the MSRP. :-(

There is a 14 day return policy which seems lie a good thing.
