  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Group Buy - Inovativ Carts!!

Can I just order accessories only? I already own a Scout 37. Was looking to get a horseshoe mount + ronford baker plate.

Just spoke with rep at inovativ. If you would like the mast riser system to fit inside the collapsed cart, you must request the Steadicam mast as it is shorter than the 5/8 baby pin mast. Note that in your order email and they will make the switch.
I believe this only applies to 37" carts and larger.

@Chris, I am no longer a maybe. I am a "FOR SURE" :)

Just emailed the peeps with all my AKS.

I'm not too late right?

+1 Scout 37"

and do I need to list AKS here or just email?

Sent my order email in, thanks again Chris!

Since your in SoCal Zeb, you could always go down there to check them out. They are in Irwindale.

I'm deep in the blue Pacific on a gig until mid April. Need to have the cart speced out way before then. Curious there's no pics of fully optioned carts with a corresponding parts list. Seems like it would be a benefit to know what goes with what and how / why.

There isn't a parts list with examples beyond what you see on the website, however Inovativ's Instragram account has many examples of carts that are kitted out. It is somewhat helpful.

I can help Zeb and potentially come out of the shadows now that I'm a buyer of a cart.

Inovativ Carts accessories are all about mounting posts and "masts".

When you look at the:
- Camera Mount System
- 5/8 Baby Pin - Mast Riser System
- Steadicam System
- Tripod System

All of those include the standard 1.75" diameter Mast post that you can attach the Horshoe Mount and Tripod Holder. The 5/8 Baby Pin Mast Adapter goes into the Mast itself and allows for anything to be mounted to that. That's an additional way to mount a monitor, light, or whatever. There is also the 5/8 Baby Pin System that is a single rod with two clamps that can attach to any post on the cart. Useful for an additional tray or whatever.

The Horseshoe Mount can can take any Ball Mount or Plate.

For DITs the Manits, Boa, and Sidewinder Systems are all ways of mounting displays via a post and vesa mount. You can use the Monitor Arm Clamps to attach a display to any of the main posts.

Grips, hooks, and handles are fairly descript.

The main questions you'll want to ask is what do you want your cart to do. Camera cart? DIT setup? Weird mutation of the two?

Phil straps on superhero cape and saves the day . . . again. ;-)

Seriously, why doesn't every high-end company in the Cine space not just hire Phil to front end their products? No brainer
