  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

GROUP BUY *FEELER* -Re-Lamp By VisionSmith

Regarding James note that he will get tech specs from Pete
Thanks
Please provide update when possible

Perhaps the best course from here is to wait until the samples featuring the latest upgrades can be tested by a trusted entity. I am seriously interested in re-lamping my Mole 412s and on paper the VisionSmith solution is quite attractive. That said, even with a GB discount, does it make sense to invest that kind of dough before having reasonable confirmation of performance/quality?

BIG NO (seriously),

It's not fair to spend your hard earned without any test (these lamps) unless you have a disposable income (lol). Don't get me wrong, I like VisionSmith solution, however, I want to see the test for sure, please

maybe there can be Mole or similar 2K LED fresnel group buy? probably not possible, right?

Did anyone see alternatives to Visionsmith at NAB?

Not trying to be a jerk, I'd be happy to be a Visionsmith customer if they can bring a proven, reasonably priced lamp to market relatively soon. AFAIK they are still figuring out the next generation tech and getting the new lamps to market in quantity. If that's old news, then what's the latest?

Interested too — I'd love to add one or two 2Ks since I picked up some of their 1Ks last year.

How's this looking? I'd love to bring my 650 into the 21st century. Is everything still on track or are we looking at a long delay? I really like the idea of repurposing older lighting fixtures with new technology. Seems like a better plan than throwing them away.

Hey Guys, sorry this cooled off, i've been super busy & so has Pete but there's clearly interest so I'll get back on it & get it moving forward again, hopefully the break will prove have been beneficial :-)

I just picked a ReLamp 1K LED for my old DeSisti 1k's. I have 3 of these lights that have been sitting on my equipment shelf for years. I just used the ReLamp'ed DeSisti for the first time today and was extremely impressed. Considering the cost to buy new LED fixtures I definitely plan to ReLamp the other two. I am pretty happy to add an LED fresnel to the kit. Can't wait to test it runtime on battery power. I just wish they made a solution that played nice with tweenies.

Please throw my name in for 2x ReLamp 1K LED in Daylight.

Thanks!
