Jamon, it appears you put me on the list as interested in one 2K Daylight Relamp. That should be two 2K Daylight Relamps. I realize that we are still well short of 50 of that specific lamp, but one more is one more ;-).
FWIW, part of the VisionSmith value proposition is for studios that run their lighting hundreds of hours each year so they can recover the lamp cost via power savings. I have no idea how many RedUsers are are managing stages as part of their duties, but if we want to get to 50 units we may need a few larger orders in the mix. I urge any RedUser reading this post to consider if any studio they have any kind of relationship with, might be open to such a pitch. It's pretty compelling to get both more lumens per watt consumed, and, depending on the venue, substantial reductions in cooling costs - not to mention fewer delays required to blot sweat on talent...

ill take (1) 300 and (1) 650..
do you know if they will ever make 150 replacements ?
Kwan I've never heard about false, lower outputs.
With All Due Respect fella,
There's one thing I don't understand, we all jumping in just because there is a discount. I'm just curious, has anyone from our forum use/test these lamps?
Last time I saw the generic test on youtube and there was complain (1K output is equal to around 750), it may be the first generation.
Please confirm, If answer is not can we test these lamps before we buy it please
Hey Jamon,
Can you please arrange a new test.
When I was planning to pick up 2K lamp (back in November), this review made me wait for their second generation lamp.
Thanks for posting this Quan. THIS IS SIGNIFICANT. That said, this is a GB feeler for V2 of the light. I will ask Pete if the version 2 will meet the actual output advertised & get a sample to test if so.
Reply from Pete in regard to the light output:
The Desisti has less ventilation than the Mole, so it may be more like a 750.
The ReLamp 1K in the Mole Baby with our lens is brighter than the Mole Baby with a 1000W halogen lamp.
Wooden Nickel in Burbank has these and the Mole LED next to each other for comparison.
We guarantee satisfaction with a full refund and so far everyone is happy with the output.
Sure Brody. FYI Pete is sending me out a unit tomorrow to do my own test. A 1K ReLamp that I will test with 2 Mole Baby 1ks...
I'm on the east coast, is there anybody on the west coast who's seen the comparison set up at Wooden Nickel in Burbank that could weigh in?
Slammed early this week with gigs, but I will try and find some time to swing by their and report back.
