  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

GROUP BUY - eMotimo ST4 + Dana Dolly

I think the movement I had where mainly from the Dana Dolly itself. I didn't had sandbag available during my test so I couldn't weight it.
 
There have been several requests for expediting in the past few days. I would love to accommodate these, but I am also trying to be fair to everyone that has signed up.
Where we are in the process:
Since we passed our highest threshold early, we started gathering information through forms. As of yesterday, we had about 24 of the GB’ers reply with info (we are still waiting on 12). Many had customization requests that we are trying to honor. With international buyers, this is especially challenging as shipping is expensive and different for every location. We want to get this right.
We have invoiced 16 of those that have replied. Of those, about 10 or 12 have fully paid.

Our plan is to invoice everyone who has replied to the Google form by end of day tomorrow (March 16th). If you are interested in early delivery, pay by end of day March 21 (Wed of next week) and we will have a set of users that we will begin fulfilling on March 23. We will fulfill in Group Buy list order to say thanks to those that put their names down early and helped us gain some momentum here.

We expect to be able to ship about 5 units each business day while we keep up with our regular business activities. While we have units in stock, we will need to configure them and add VMounts, case them up, add customized parts, etc. so this isn’t just a matter of slapping a label on the box and go. We also want to be sure that we don't penalize users that are ready to pay on the scheduled end time of the Group Buy that signed on early.

So long story short, group buy units will start heading out on March 23 in list order for those that have fully paid by March 21. If you pay after March 21, you are queued at the end of early shipping list. If you are #5 on the list and pay at the end of the Group Buy, we still promise to hit our marks though!

At this time, we can’t accommodate prioritizing shipment to users outside of this rambling (but I hope is perceived to be very fair) approach. As a couple folks have mentioned, there are regularly priced units available from our resellers like Hot Rod Camera (Thanks Illya, Jordan, and Dain for being the first shop to show off our robots and connect us with the right customers) as well as direct from eMotimo.

So V-mounts need to be added? Would a AB gold mount be an option?

Double check your e-mail. I received an invoice titled "eMotimo Invoice #" a few days ago, about a week after responding to the questionnaire. They might be going through things slowly, as they build new units. May also depend on if you asked for additional accessories.
 
Quick update,

Everyone who filled out the google form should have been invoiced. We do have 7 users who signed up who have not filled out the the form. I am passing those names to Phil this morning, but he mentioned, that many might not be checking for notifications out here.
If you have filled out the form and have not seen the invoice, please check your email / spam. Reach out to me directly by DM here if you have issues or are not seeing your invoice.

Right now we are on track to start shipping this Friday for those that have paid by end of Day Wednesday. For the pool that has paid, we will begin working our way from the top of the Group Buy list on down at about the rate of 5 units per business day. If you are 35th on the list and have paid, you are about 35/5=7 business days out out by our estimates, or expected shipping around April 2nd.

International Dana Dolly buyers might take a day or two longer as we are going to be creating a single shipment from the eMotimo offices for everything. If you are an international buyer, I encourage you to please fill out the form today and work through payment as soon as possible. We are trying to batch the shipment from Dana Dolly components to eMotimo. We would like to do this once rather than several times. So please, even if you don't plan on paying until a bit later, fill out the form and tell us what you will be ordering.

While we are configuring the VMounts with all units in this group buy, we do not currently have a Gold Mount option we can configure. We expect to add that later this year, but there are $100 options for conversions from Gold to Vmount that we can recommend.

In honor of this being a REDUSER Group Buy, the first 7 units heading out will have RED PS4 remotes, rather than the traditional black.
If you are in the top 10 and would rather have the traditional black remote, please let me know by direct message.

Hello all!

We are one week away from the end of this Group Buy. We've hit top tier fairly early on and as Brian mentioned, for those who have filled out the form, been invoiced, and have paid the ball is rolling on your ST4 or ST4/DD combo.

Out of the 40 of you, 7 still need to fill out the form. Just sent out a nudge to you guys to fill that form out. It helps get the ball rolling.

Actually shipping before the Group Buy is over for the first who paid.
