  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

GROUP BUY - DJI Ronin R2

For anyone else purchasing outside of the USA, the links that Soren sends seem to default to the USA. You have to switch your country at the top-right (see screenshot) BEFORE you can unlock other countries in the shipping drop-down menu.

OK, what's the latest on this code allocation stuff?

Soren stated he is doing some kind of a server test of each custom code and reach out to us. And I'm still waiting.

Was lucky enough to get mine through CVP in london by using my code through them (although this might have been a one off).

Picked up my unit straight away and it's a huge improvement over the R1, really impressive bit of kit and quite happy I chose it over the movi pro now! Cheers for the group buy!

Hey Guys,

So talked to DJI and thee is a 20 day waiting period. I think this is little much for a company that just made well over a good amount and for someone like me who has gimbal jobs booked. Anyone else here of this 20 days period? Think we should push to move the process forward a little faster?
 
Please we have a 15% discount. If we want in the future to continue to have deal like that with them, maybe we can wait the orders without push anything. In case rental will save your job.

The website used to reflect a 15-20 day backorder but is now updated to 3-5 business days.

I was talking to customer service also and they said 15-20 days to ship.

It should be faster than that. I was told by DJI that our orders would go straight to the top, so I think that's going to be the case, and that 15-20 days is in-accurate.
 
I put my order in and it has only been a few days and it is showing that its processed and shipped, should be in my hands some time next week... Probably before my camera gets back from RED for the new sensor.. It will be a big week for me and gear...Like Christmas in October.. Happy Halloween,,, Thanks Chris and Soren.
... So if your hearing that its 15-20 days I would not trust that info... Unless they just ran out of R2's which I would be very surprised if they did.

I received the shipment notification too but it was just for the 2 extra batteries I ordered. I got so excited though! haha

Same thing with me, got a shipping notice but it’s just the batteries. Hoping it will ship sooner then 15 days. Need it for November.

Extra batteries was shipped from AUSTELL, GA ....
