  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

GROUP BUY: Cinegears Wireless Follow Focus Christmas Special!

How much time have i got to decide? I just came across the post.

also, does anyone know if you can control two motors the same simultaneously like you need for a 3d rig?

cheers paul

Hi Paul,
You will need the multi axis wire/wireless follow focus kit up to 6 channel.

To help push this a long, on a three day shoot with the standard single kit and a very experienced puller (owns a Bartech) who's been raving mad about my Cinegears :)

The brain/gear plus auto-calib is the kicker he says.

sweet man!!!!!! Thats great :)

Ok. I'm in for one. Haven't decided if I will get the high-torque motor yet. Is it louder?
At normal speeds it is very quiet. As with most high powered servo motors, you will get some noise the harder they work. When using presets you can set the speed at which the motor transitions and this will also help to reduce any noise you may hear.

Put Dominck sivilli on the list please.

Yea, it's an amazing system! Thanks for the positive reinforcement!

Ok guys..at 55. AMAZING!! Links will go out tonight hopefully. This has been a very successful group buy. Please DM me if you're not on the list or I missed you.

"thanks for the quick reply. thats a pity though, i was hoping you could set two or more motors to receive the same instructions. i also could gear the two lenses together mechanically, i might look into this. cheers paul"

While researching this, I vaguely recall someone using one motor to control two lenses. I don't remember where I saw it. Maybe search for "3D cinegears." I would get the hi-torque version for this. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
