Group Buy: Budget CRI 95 LED Strip Lights

Brandon, will there be more RGB strips for sale? I had ordered some already but didn't see them available for purchase. Thanks, Andy

Thanks Brandon (I thought I'd write it here than adding yet another post :) )

Yes, there will be. Not everything is visible on site yet.

I got the email and set up my account. But, when I try to get in, it tells me my password is invalid.

Does anyone have any ideas about how one might light a cyclorama wall with these KoraLED lights or "compatible" (color temp, cri) lights.

The basic principles is for a white background wall, the lights shining on the wall need to be about twice as bright as the light on the subject. I can install lights into the ceiling pointing down, but I'm not sure they will light all the way down to the floor. Wall is 8 feet x 20 feet

This isn't my room but close in basic appearance in what we are going to do with it.

I just blasted out another 100 invites.

I'm buried in adding orders right now. As soon as I'm done I will be adding the rest of the products to the site. It's a ton of work, but it will make getting all your orders out so much faster.

Once I get everyone added and the orders imported I have some good news...

Anyone interested in buying controllers (and lights), PM me your email and I'll send you an invite.

Got my invite. Really excited to see the new stuff and have even more lighting options.

I know it is somewhere in this thread but I can't find it so here I go, without the Solaris Controller, what are my options to power and control those LED strips?

All you need is a 12V power source to power the strips. The controllers let you adjust color temp, dim the lights, use RGB/RGBW lights, and do it all wirelessly. Alternatively, you can look at what LiteGear offers, but it's much more expensive.

Ok, thanks Brandon.

I've updated my KoraLed account. Should I be able to see what I've ordered and paid for?
Thanks

Patrick

PS: My name is not Peter Tresch but Patrick Tresch is this important?

I have to import the orders manually. I'm working on it everyday. I'll get your name fixed. It's all tracked by PayPal email address, so everything will be fine. All your previous orders will be there.

Hi Brandon :)

Thanks again for all your work on this!

Can I ask, how many LED strips can one power supply / controller drive?

Thanks!

Also I wonder if the controller can control the Bladelight LED lights. I love the form and the flaps, but the power supply on those sucks!

The controller doesn't have a built in power supply. The controller can handle 12-24V at 40A (10A per channel), which is a lot of light. A 40A load is 4 full strips (65+ feet). The controllers will also work with a few other lights that are coming very soon.

Just sent you an email.

Maybe it could be used to dim them, but you will need another power supply. I don't know the specs at all for that light. Theoretically, it could work though.

Hi Brandon.. I have activated my account but get an "invalid password " when I try an log in.

If it's asking for only a password and not a username also, you need to enter the site password. It's the same for everyone and included in the invite email.
