Yeah, they are sending me the unit they have now, which works well under a normal load, but they don't like the temp readings they are getting when it's under a full 40A load. Keep in mind this is a massive load (5x LG's dimmer). It's 4 full 5m (16ft+) single color rolls or 2 full 5m rolls of hybrid/variable strips. It's a massive amount of light. I will test the controller to verify it's flicker free at high frame rates as they update one component to make the temp lower. I'll test it out immediately when I get it and post videos.
Hello,
Long time Red owner/operator here. I'm interested in purchasing a spool of each LED strip on this group buy (hybrid, daylight, tungsten). I would like to acquire a spool from the original lot, take the place of a an existing order, or buy from an existing owner. Please contact me asap.
Also, is there anyone on this group buy who has average color temperature readings on these strips? I use lite gear and there can be quite a variation on CRI / color temperature between products/ batches (especially X2 and X3 daylight)
Thank You.

The color temp and CRI are very consistent. I have lab reports I can sent you. The manufacturer is required to meet the specification I gave them.
Here are CRI readings I took myself (Daylight | Tungsten):
Here are some recent comments people have shared:
I received my spools a few weeks ago...they are really bright and color accurate. I ended up soldering 4 short strips together and sticking them to a piece of silver lame to light the inside of a car for a daytime shoot and ran them off of a vmount. They are awesome.
I am loving mine. I want more. These puke out huge amounts of light when driven by around 15v from an AB battery. I am using 12v power supplies that I got from a different vendor, and I have 15v supplies for some of my other LEDs. Color temp is spot on without CC gells.
I put mine on coro-plast with velcro on the back. They are less than half an inch thick and mad bright.

I sent you a PM with my email, Joel.
