  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Group Buy: Budget CRI 95 LED Strip Lights

All settled up! Thanks Brandon for all your work! :)

I'm actually getting excited about these LED strips and the countless ways they can be rigged, used and powered. I look forward to seeing a thread of all the creative ways people will use them! We could call it "THE LED PORN THREAD" LOL

Bit of a long thread to read thru so I don't know when they are shipping, but if anyone has these in Toronto Feb 9-13th and has some sort of board or pizza box made up, I would like to rent it out!

+1... I've already started replacing my existing lighting set ups with (how I would configure) these LEDs (in my head). I'm ready to hit the ground running as soon as I get mine, I already have some great ideas.

Yeah, I'm excited to see what you guys do with these lights. There are so many options. Please do post pictures and share.

We are still accepting alternates to replace the people who don't confirm their orders in time. If you missed out, PM me your email and we may be able to get you on.

Everything gets locked down on Monday.

I've scanned through most of the thread and can't see power requirements per metre for the Variable strips. Just looking to work out battery size and run times for the variable strips.
Any one know?

I just got an email from the manufacturer. I should have our first batch of flicker-free controllers in about a week!

If you have not finalized your order yet, please do so ASAP so our strip light production run can start! The DROP DATE is Monday! If you haven't confirmed your order by then you're out.

We are still accepting alternates! PM me if you missed out on the Group Buy and want a chance to get in on it.

I'm tempted to post a list of the people I haven't been able to connect with since the Group Buy closed. I'm not sure they are even seeing my emails. What do you guys think?

Final numbers from the manufacturer will be included with your orders including some example wiring diagrams for more complex setups.

Litegear's 120 LED strips are .5Amps per foot. So I'm assuming these will be similar? So I'm guessing if you want to run the whole 16' you'd want a power supply or battery that could handle 8-10 amps, at 12V.

182 invoices sent! 13 more people to go!

DEADLINE MONDAY!

Anyone who has not confirmed their order by then has to be dropped. We can't wait any longer.

I need the following people to confirm their orders ASAP:

Travis Wears

Daniel Murphy
Steve Das
John Wee
jacob.schwarz
Maz Mawlawi
Ryan Sauve
Paris Remillard
Travis Wears
FrankPaulPerez
Ryan Grosjean
Daniel Stilling
Gregory Bennett

If you're on the above list, you should have 2 emails and at least 1 PM from me already. If you don't PM me with your email ASAP.

If you missed out on this Group Buy and still want in on this deal PM me your email address to be an alternate.

Good news! Here are a couple pictures of the first of our custom made solderless connectors for the variable strips! These are going to make dealing with variable strips so much easier... Literally: Cut-Snap-Go

These were custom made for this Group Buy and are currently not available anywhere else.

Note: These are not our strips in the pictures.

Brandon,is it possible to obtain one more variable connector pack ?
If so,I am in .

Awesome!

Same here Brandon, I never ordered any connector kits. Would love to add 2-fixed and 2-variable. If it cannot happen then no worries.

Tnx
David

Yeah, it's something so simple, but no one has made it before this for variable strips.

Could I possibly also get one more fixed & one more variable connector pack?

Sure. Check your email, Susan.
