  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

152 people have confirmed their orders, but we are still waiting on a number of people who have not. The holidays have slowed this down quite a bit. Tomorrow I'll start sending out reminders to the people we are waiting on. I haven't wanted to set a cut off date around the holidays because I know a lot of people are out of town. We will soon though...

A few more people have finished up their orders since last night. I really hope we can get this wrapped up in the next couple days! 2014 is coming to an end...

Yeah, it has to be soon. It's really starting to delay things too much. I am about to send out another reminder to everyone that hasn't confirmed their order yet.

I'm keeping a list of alternates so we can be sure we reach the minimum for our discount even if we have to close the doors before everyone is in...

I read through the entire thread and realized I should probably order at least one more variable connection kit since they are completely custom built and not available anywhere else. At $9 its better to have more on hand than to suddenly find myself needing more. I hope it's still possible. NOTE: I already placed and paid for my order.

What do you guys think about making the DROP DATE Monday the 5th? It's later than I'd like, but it gives people a chance to catch up after the holidays. Let me know your thoughts...

I suggest you guys stock up on the variable connectors. They are cheap and custom made for this group buy. While not required, they will make your life a lot easier when working with the variable strips.

Sounds like good advice. I'm all paid up too, can I add 2 additional variable connector kits to my order?

Personally I'd vote for earlier. EG whatever allows you to actually deliver lights in Jan, as early as possible. Why not surprise people with everything on like Jan 20 instead of Jan 31?

You'd enter into a rare holy pantheon of Group Buys That Delivered On Or Before Their Original Promised Dates.

You can always do another group buy in a few months.

Backed up by a unique reputation of Delivering On What You Said You'd Do, plus positive user reports, I bet you'd get even more than 500 new orders that time around.

I agree 100%. I've seen firsthand the problems common to many Group Buys and I will make damn sure we stay on track.

I just spoke with the manufacturer and due to the holidays it doesn't make a difference if we lock things down today or Monday. So, Monday it is.


Anyone who hasn't finalized their order by Monday January 5th is DROPPED from this Group Buy. No Exceptions.
