  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Group Buy: Budget CRI 95 LED Strip Lights

Cool stuff, I'm looking forward to some of the light weight solutions, the idea of having something so light that you can rig with velcro is pretty liberating.

I'm back online.

I've been able to email everyone on the Group Buy now. If you have not received a confirmation email from me yet, please check your SPAM folder.

The majority of you have finalized your orders, but we are still waiting on 24 people to confirm theirs. As soon as everyone is confirmed our production run will begin.

We may have another interesting opportunity available to everyone in this Group Buy soon...

Is this relevant to the strips we are buying, as in, will they fit?

The 10mm single color option will work for the Fixed strips. They don't offer anything that will work with variable strips.

I'm trying to calculate how many meters or leds I will have per battery, are there any specs available of the power usage?
Just by googling around locally I found a nice little rechargeable battery of 12v, 6.5A or 82W, at only 35 euros it's a lot cheaper then getting extra v locks.

Are there other similar easy connectors that you know of that will work?

The Variable Connector Kit has connectors for this. They are custom made for our Group Buy and unavailable anywhere else. The Fixed Connector kits have connectors for the single color strips.

Hello

Do you have the link to that battery?

Thanks

Pat

Can you post photos of what is being provided?

It's not finalized yet and some of the pieces are being made still, but they will look something like this:

THANKS BRANDON....!!!

Since this is a custom part, perhaps you could let us know how much to order spares? We only ordered one per each of our spools but I suspect we'll be cutting at least one or 2 of them and will need more connectors.

Thank you,

Thank you,

Do you know already how many of these connectors will be in each kit ? If these are custom made, I want to be sure that I ordered enough for my needs...

There will be at least 4 of each type of connector. One type is for connecting cut pieces and the other is to add leads to a cut piece.

I suppose there is nothing to stop us using wires and solder to make connections is there?

Nothing at all. You can do that all day. The solderless connectors are just easier to deal with.
