  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Group Buy: Budget CRI 95 LED Strip Lights

Updated!

We are up to 383 spools now! Closing in on 400!

I am going to do my bit to get the price down to 79 per panel. 6x v, 4x t, 4x d. If everybody upped their order by 20% we would get past 500 and you would receive more lights for the same money.

count me in, atleast 1 daylight and one tungsten but if the controller works out, the 2x variable would be ideal

Not a big order but Brandon please change mine to 1 (d) and 2 (v) :)

I'm in the list for one (d), I add one variable.

2 extra / 1 daylight / 1 tungsten, so my total order is 2 daylight 2 tungsten

Sorry joining late the party... I was banned for 2 months for "Advertising", Lol!

1xD
2xT

...i'm sure i will want more after i have started to play around with them. :)

I guarantee you will.

Totally agree. This is sort of the future of lighting; small form factor, powerful, high quality, low power draw, versatile.

I totally agree. I was never a fan of LED lighting before because of the color issues, but now the premium lights, like what we are getting, do not have these problems. They are perfectly balanced and look great!

We are just 9 spools away from 400!

I would like to know the answer to the important question as to how the variables work. Is it every other 3200 and 5600 so that full up on both is half-way between the two? Or is, this being the Christmas season, some Elfan magic involved?

I'm definitely going to be in. . . I just want to figure out what I'm in for!

Sorry I missed that. The colors are 2700k and 6000k. I don't see any difference in brightness when rotating through the color temperature range. At either end of the range just 1 color LED is on. As you rotate through it dims between the 2 colors.

I looked at the updated pics on your 2nd post showing the exampled uses, AMAZING. The potential of these lights actually make me feel liberated. As I'm sure with most people on this thread, I have and/or have worked with everything from "hot lights" fluorescents and LEDs. Sure u can gel, minus great and magenta for the spikes but it still feels like something is lost or just not there when you have to do that, especially from the dreaded "skin tones". It's gotten so bad for me that I've actually gone back to incandescent and tungsten hot lights just because... Thanks again for this GB!

I'm ready to up my oder again! It would be helpful if you could you give an idea of how much a roll can light. So for instance how many feet are in the 4 bank in the first pic of example uses?

Happy to do it! It's really cool how we can all join together like this and make these top quality LED strip lights affordable. Not only the lights... we are getting our own custom built controllers too. If we were ordering as individuals, none of this would be possible.

Each spool is 16.4 feet long so if you were making your own 4 foot long light you could get approximately 4 rows with 1 spool.

We are at 399 spools!!

We just passed the 400 mark! 500 spools is in play! That will maximize our discount!

It ends tomorrow!

I'll add 1 T and 1 D to my original order of 2 V.

If you have already joined and haven't sent me a PM with your email please do so ASAP. Thanks!

Brandon, revising my order from 2 D to 1T & 1D. Thanks.

ist shipping to europe possible (germany and/or switzerland)? cost?

Thanks :-)

Shipping to Europe is no problem. It will be sent from inside Europe to keep cost to a minimum. LED strip light spools are very lightweight.

add 2 tungsten to mine so 2 vari 2 tung…come on boys!
