Well, I am sorry that I am not the senior poster around here. Seems like you have to be one to actually be heard? I do read the forum a lot as this is a great place to obtain valuable info on many popular gimbals and I am willing to buy one of those. This deal is attractive so I started to dig out the info behind these gimbals as there is not many info around. Just wanted to share my thought, no need to bash me for that...
Hey thanks for the reply! I have, as of today, however discovered that the price of the allsteady 7 is now 5,000$? I wil be going with a ronin instead unfortunately,Hi Jake,
We have developed a special aerial mounting plate prototype for the Allsteady 7. The top handle is completely removed and the existing pan motor mounting bolts are used to attach it to the gimbal. The gimbal itself is not modified, nor does it need any addition parts except the aerial mounting plate.
This plate will be in production soon to go along with our Infinity 9 octocopters.

I know this is an old thread but did any one here buy one, use and have anything to say? I'm trying to get info on this and it's scant. The video reviews are old and are not from people who've actually used it on the field for work.
I can't figure out what the power disto situation is. Does it power an Epic via D tap? Are there ports for powering other accessories such as Paralinx, WFF?
Does it use GPS for horizons? Does it maintain its horizons over long shots or vehicle work?
Is the software simple and easy to calibrate? IOS, Android, PC, OS X, etc?
Customer service any good?
I love gimbals conceptually but in all most if not all piss me off over one thing or another (lack of micro adjustments for all Axis, glitchy software, slipping handles, etc). Much of the AS7 seems good on paper but I need more info.
Anyone?
Hi Ned!
The Allsteady 7 is a much older design and is no longer being produced. My best suggestion would be to call us at 714-938-0189 or check out our website http://turboace.com
We have the new Allsteady 6 line of gimbals which are much much better than the AS7.
Again, the best option is to call us. Please ask for sales or for Ken when you call.
Best,
Andrew
