  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

GROUP BUY - Allsteady 7 Gimbal - $2795

Hey Ned,

Unfortunately not right now. There may be plans for a rebuild of the Allsteady 7 with all of the new encoder technology and structural improvements, but at least not int he very near future.

The Allsteady 6 Motion has a max payload capacity of around 8 lbs. It does fit a RED Epic but it needs to be mostly stripped down to just the RED body, lens, and battery. Depending on the lens, this should get you within that 8 lbs payload range.

Thanks.

I really like the battery solution. I hope they make a new heavy duty gimbal soon.

Dave, Cinemilled.com says as soon as they get caught up with their Ronin project, they will start designing steadicam adapters for other manufacturer's gimbals. Good.

Like Galen mentioned, I would love to make products for the allsteady gimbal... anyone in LA that owns one will lend it to me....PM me or email sales@cinemilled.com. You get it back with a few new shiny parts!

I just haven't had the chance to sit down with one yet.

Do you have your own software or app for these yet? The AS I had was a NIGHTMARE to adjust anything. You pay more for for a Ronin or similar but their proprietary software apps are just nothing short of GOLD...plus the build quality is vastly superior with DJI. So you certainly get a lot for the $ with Turboace but there are two largely significant drawbacks everyone should be aware of...horrendously tedious and time consuming manufacturers software and poorer build quality...but wayyy cheaper which is a big plus.
