  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

GROUP BUY - Allsteady 7 Gimbal - $2795

First post. Really? You may have some credibility issues.

Well, I am sorry that I am not the senior poster around here. Seems like you have to be one to actually be heard? I do read the forum a lot as this is a great place to obtain valuable info on many popular gimbals and I am willing to buy one of those. This deal is attractive so I started to dig out the info behind these gimbals as there is not many info around. Just wanted to share my thought, no need to bash me for that...

Hi Willem,

I can get you a quote to the Netherlands via FedEx this afternoon. When you are ready to place the order, I can make sure that you get the price that is advertised here. Because you are outside of the US we ask that you send a wire transfer, and we will give you 2% off the total purchase for wiring. Whenever you are ready to place the order, you can submit it with the old price and select the "Pay in store" option. I can then go in and edit the price and add the shipping cost.

What is your email address? Or please email me at sales@turboace.com so I can send you the information on the shipping cost.

-Andrew

It's sort of like walking into a party where no one knows you and loudly declaring that the host has really poor taste in decor and you really hate the food. You can say what you want but, like I said, it's a matter of credibility.

Hi Andy,
Have not heard from Ken (turboace) yet, but ordered the Allsteady 7 as described (Pay in store). Please edit the order! Thanks, Willem

Hi,
I am trying to buy the Allsteady 7 gimbal from turboace website, I live in canada and I am getting the price of $2,795.00 instead of $2495 after reduser coupon code.
I wrote them and an e-mail and I am hoping to get reply before the end date of the offer. Please tell me how to get it asap. I already pre order the DJI Ronin but if i get this deal i ll cancel the dji ronin.

I came to know about the deal one day ago, I don't want to miss this deal.

Help is appreciated.
Thanks

The "reduser" coupon code on the Turbo Ace website now reflects the $2495 price that is shown here!

Does anyone know if you're able to take the handle bar off in order to attach the allsteady to a copter or RC car or something? I know the ronin is capable of this

Hi Jake,

We have developed a special aerial mounting plate prototype for the Allsteady 7. The top handle is completely removed and the existing pan motor mounting bolts are used to attach it to the gimbal. The gimbal itself is not modified, nor does it need any addition parts except the aerial mounting plate.

This plate will be in production soon to go along with our Infinity 9 octocopters.

Hey thanks for the reply! I have, as of today, however discovered that the price of the allsteady 7 is now 5,000$? I wil be going with a ronin instead unfortunately,
I thought for sure the allsteady was 3,000

Has anyone found a good dovetail and rail system for the epic and All steady 7? I tried messaging Turbo Ace for recommendations and they haven't return the message in a while.

I know this is an old thread but did any one here buy one, use and have anything to say? I'm trying to get info on this and it's scant. The video reviews are old and are not from people who've actually used it on the field for work.

I can't figure out what the power disto situation is. Does it power an Epic via D tap? Are there ports for powering other accessories such as Paralinx, WFF?

Does it use GPS for horizons? Does it maintain its horizons over long shots or vehicle work?

Is the software simple and easy to calibrate? IOS, Android, PC, OS X, etc?

Customer service any good?

I love gimbals conceptually but in all most if not all piss me off over one thing or another (lack of micro adjustments for all Axis, glitchy software, slipping handles, etc). Much of the AS7 seems good on paper but I need more info.

Anyone?

Hi Ned!

The Allsteady 7 is a much older design and is no longer being produced. My best suggestion would be to call us at 714-938-0189 or check out our website http://turboace.com

We have the new Allsteady 6 line of gimbals which are much much better than the AS7.

Again, the best option is to call us. Please ask for sales or for Ken when you call.

Best,
Andrew

AS6 on the website is listed at an 8lb payload. I need something to handle an epic, PL Prime, etc. At least 12lbs. Do they make anything with that load anymore?

Hey Ned,

Unfortunately not right now. There may be plans for a rebuild of the Allsteady 7 with all of the new encoder technology and structural improvements, but at least not int he very near future.

The Allsteady 6 Motion has a max payload capacity of around 8 lbs. It does fit a RED Epic but it needs to be mostly stripped down to just the RED body, lens, and battery. Depending on the lens, this should get you within that 8 lbs payload range.
