  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Yeah, well...first, we're not having you leave any time soon. Plus, you're going to live forever, sir -- you have all of us to ensure that.

What a great ride it has been for you. Much to be proud of

all the reasons to be proud on many levels.
You made it once
and you made it twice
I guess it was not a fluke after all :)

Cheers to you and people that support you !

I immediately re-watched it 3 times in a row - well done, greatly inspiring

Am only new to the Forum and just starting to appreciate what has happened before I arrived but was thinking why stop at your funeral, surely the RED community could gang together and develop a showreel to be played each year to celebrate the success of those that have gone before them.

I think Jim was using "funeral" as some sort of metaphor. Anyone whose brain does its thinking in the synaptic future obviously is aware of the Singularity and has taken steps to insure he will be around when that becomes a reality. '-)

Did I ever mention to pass this along to everyone you know? :-)

Jim

He he, watching it again just now I realized that the first time around I seen it, was so excited I forgot to "LIKE" it.. Did so now... ;)

Also in all excitement still... I forgot to say how much I really did LOVE the ending line, to me so referring to RED itself... "Big things have small beginnings"

Is there any chance they will post maybe a 4K version of the reel on YouTube or something ? :D
