  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

You get a discount based on the number of people who order. That is the gist of a group buy. The more that buy, the bigger the discount. Nick will post the details of the initial retail price, the group buy price, and the discount tiers once available but in order for the company to manufacture enough units, you needed to put your interest in and that is how many units will be available for the group buy.

Nick do we have to decide on which version we want when we haven't even seen details of the light version yet?

I've tried setting one up in the past but they have such a slim profit margin that they were't able to facilitate one. They will be having a sale of the Misfit's in the month of October along with the updated website ;)

Sadly, that is not going to happen, BUT there is still incredible value there. As one recent small example, someone posted about their OCONNOR top flag needing WD40 to loosen it. Others voiced the same difficulty. I have only seen hands on observers of my VIV 5 or Strummer I or Dna matte boxes and the flags marvel at the ease of application and facile rotation and locking mechanisms, no lube required.

I have to say that everyone who has rented these from me has endured them heartily. Looking forward to the same response with theFollow Focus.

HI All!!

I cannot emphasize too strongly how fortunate we are that BRIGHT TANGERINE is offering a Group Buy opportunity. I have tried for YEARS to get them to allow a Group Buy, for their matte box product line, but the quality of their pieces is so high, that there aren't enough points in the list price to accommodate a usual Group Buy structure. As I have stated above, full price purchase, is STILL a value. I do so enjoy watching the countenance of acknowledgement and pleasure that a first time BT matte box hands on observer, uniformly expresses, etc.... There is every reason to expect that the Follow Focus product line will produce similar responses and enthusiasm.

The pricing should be released soon, with details of the GB to follow.

Please be aware of the closing date of the GB!! See Post #1.
