Did anybody in the media pit come up and ask what the hell kind of camera you were using?

I know one guy in the media pit who didn't have to come up and ask what kind of camera they were using...me. I was contracted by MATCO to shoot several cars at the same event. I shot everywhere...pits, starting line, runs, etc. I was seriously undergunned compared to Team RED...I used a Z1 supplied by my client.

When you shoot footage right next to that much horsepower lighting off you just can't believe the energy released! (lots of people next to the track get the same expression as Ted when Funny Cars launch!)

Fun stuff...and good to see Jim again...

P.S. - I may be biased, but Jim's Funny Car had the best paint job and graphic package of any car I saw at the event! Why doesn't that surprise me...

Absolut unglaublich!!! The RED MEDIA team in blue sleeveless shirts!!!
A very good camouflage color for the public event.
All three team members were watching something like on this photo below

Hmm, better like this, we (reservation holders) and they (the RED Team) are in "Zeitnot" with the RED ONE or "Time pressure, time trouble or zeitnot is the situation of having very little time on a player's clock to complete his remaining moves."

But Jim has "Time Bomb" for all of Us and rest of the skeptic digital acquisition world.

Such an interesting and adventure life at the RED ONE Lab B A C K S T A G E.

Gibby, show us a picture of that Jim's car!

I can't and I wouldn't...all the footage I shot was left with my client. There were several still photographers there. I see Reduser1242 dug up one of their photos. Great looking car and some real good runs on the track...

Congrats to Gary Scelzi and Jim Jannard on the 1st place funny car finish. Also, I spied more than one RED Digital Cinema sticker on funny cars.

yes.. it was a good day for the O team.

Those stickers were a hot item.

Gavin I think that is one of the funnist things I have seen anyone post on here.
