shot some stuff with my scarlet and the canon 24-70 2.8L, pretty common lens. If anyone wants to see anything let me know.
Does it vignette at 5K? Thanks!

Thinking of buying the Canon 70 200 2,8 lens and would be interested in getting comments and thoughts in regard to wich version to get, stabilizer version or non stabilazer version.
Thanks
Andi

Andi,
Get the IS version. It works with the EOS mount. And does help prevent some shakiness. I did a test with IS on and with it off. It was a much more desirable shot when it was turned on.
Thanks for sharing Phil, looking forward to seeing footage and stills you might post.
From what i've read in a few forums you shouldn't expect it to be parfocal. Some come close, but not close enough to go without having to adjusting the focus. Is the Canon 24-70 2.8L parfocal?

It looks like Canon never said anything official about that.
BTW, maybe the upcoming 24-70 2.8 II L is better?![]()
