Hi Guys,
Today we have released a version of FilmConvert Film Stock Emulation as an OFX plugin.
EDIT:
Well, ok - that's a bit embarrassing. I was told that Avid did support OFX in some capacity. I was hoping someone could try out our Vegas plugin and let us know if it worked. Turns out this is not likely if no version of Avid supports OFX!
EDIT 2:
Hmm. So - actually OFX is supported on Avid DS.
Any DS, Scratch or Nuke users who want to give it a go and let me know if it works, would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Hopefully it wasn't an Avid person that told you that...But perhaps it was a DS user. According to this:
http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/compatibility/en384691?popup=true&NewLang=en&DocType=1083
Avid DS supports the Foundry's OFX host. So when saying Avid, you just need to be a bit more specific.
It would be great if Avid Media Composer and Symphony products supported other FX host in addition to AVX. Perhaps someone will make an OFX to AVX gasket...
