I would love to see it on the S35 scarlet, even if there is a reasonably longer wait, and cost.

Jannard's post suggested it was HDR in general. Can anyone clarify this?
I can’t really clarify it, I hope someone from RED pipes up, but this was also how I read it. I do think he was talking specifically about motion HDR though, not stills. So I think $1000 to get ANY motion HDR.
*EDIT* Thinking about it now though he did say the jury was out on Scarlet still, I assume that's pending a decision to upgrade the hardware to handle HDR?
1.Completely scrap the 2/3 scarlet!
2.Replace 2/3 scarlet with the S35 scarlet and keep the price under 5k.
Can I dream?
This is a dead issue.. Look at the poll. Jim's not gonna put in something that would piss off nearly half the people wanting the camera.

As much as I would love to have Scarlet in my hands, I'd say: drop it.
Until you use it on epic and then realize how wickedly amazing it is![]()
It is a dream "B" camera, behind the scenes camera, run'n'gun camera , crash camera, tight spot camera, ....and I see such product positioning the main purpose of Scarlet.
HDRx™™™™™™™™™ is just a specialised, advanced feature that probably less than 1% of users will really need, but 100% of users would need to pay 30% more to have it there anyway.
Of course! That's why I want an Epic too... or, should I say: two
