that and the 85 PrimeCanon 70-200mm f2.8 mii
And the 24mm 1.4
What's the "best" lens?
Even so Zooms, well, some of them at list, like the case of the latest edition of the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS, the primes will always be the Best.
So if you are looking at which is the best lens, as in which one has the best image quality, then always look at Primes never at Zooms, if looking at which lens is the most versatile and best for a specific type of work, then look at Zooms, but the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L will actually be the best zoom, also the most used and versatile zoom in the entire Canon line up ever, just wait for the V2 to come out... You'll agree...
The 24-70 is not just about what it gives as far as focal, but the particular look it gives, a unique lens on its own.
The 24-70 is a great versatile lens. If I was forced to choose only one lens to be stuck with for the rest of my life that would probably be it.
