  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I ordered it August 27th but I don't really remember how long it was in the store when I place my deposit... Anyway, good news is that I will have it at the office tomorrow.
Red UK were really reactive, I've received the email, answered it and three hours later my Canon Mount was shipped!
Great Job Ivan, Alan & the rest of the Red UK team!
 
Is there any deliverys reported from orders from sept?
 
MIne delivered yesterday, ordered the 27th at 6:30 circa from Prague.
 
For a very long time, I felt exactly like this guy (just replace "food" with "Canon Mount"):

Cool, I ordered my mount on August 29th so I'm very close.. Good thing.. I'm about to drop some dimes on a 50 1.2, 85 1.2 and maybe that 35 1.4
 
Just for some perspective for those who are waiting (like me): the mounts went on the store at about 8:20pm on the 26th (a Friday night). We're now 3+ months out and those who ordered by the wee hours of Saturday - say, 8-9 hours worth of (middle-of-the-night-on-a-weekend) orders - are just receiving their mounts. I'm very excited for this mount but I think it's good to be patient, and have realistic expectations of Red while they work to get these out to us.

I for one (like many here) missed a fantastic opportunity to shoot Epic because the mount hadn't shipped, but I don't hold that against Red. (When you're three years ahead of the competition, what's 3 months?) I just adapted and shot with a lesser setup... and wait for the happy day when I get my mount.

We are looking VERY good right now. That monster, monster, monster stack of orders from the first day has finally been chopped down, and you will start to see that order date to ship date spread Shrink very fast.

Thank you Jarred for shedding some light. It have felt like "Groundhog Day" for some days just reading we are still on first days ordering.
 
Jarred can you give any estimates when we can se Scarlets with Ti canon mounts find there happy homes?

oh wow, I hope so. I'll even make a 700 kilometre journey to pick it up if it does.
