  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Everything you wanted to know about the EPIC Canon Mount

Got my email for the EPIC Canon Mount just now from my rep. Excited, and today is actually my birthday, 60 big ones and what a great birthday present. I wonder if they planned this..

Sent them email back and paid for the mount just now in full.

I also just got my email -- 15 days after my Birthday but still the best present this year! Now I will be able to finally shoot with my Epic-X which has been waiting for this mount since Oct 24th...

Ordered August 27 at 6:35AM PST.
 
got my august 27th email as well!!! gonna love breaking in some new canon glass

But what are the chances for December? And do you need a tester?
 
I'm about to jump onto plane for 2 week shoot .... no canon mounts delivered... no Spare RED VOLT chargers delivered ... , no bomb EVFs... No side grips... very annoyed, very sad. :(

I hate back orders!

At least I have my precious PLAYBACK... :)

I got my email yesterday. I ordered the day it went up. Can't remember what time. It's amazing what an 11 month old does to one's brain.
Will send a pic or two once it's arrived, but at this point you all know what they look like and probably don't want to see another one till it's yours you're looking at.

Mark... we are all waiting. We will just have to put up with PL glass for a while longer ;) :)

Anyway - I think it's time again for a big THANK YOU. You guys and your products make a difference on my and others lives every day. In a way, it's you guys that make it possible for guys like me creating jobs and help other aspiring filmmakers to get into the business - I think that's huge...

Now - back to those mounts - AAAAAAARGGHH!!

I bet you have one or two really really great reasons or projects right now that you need what you are waiting for right now.

I get about two hundred and fifty emails per day from customers asking the same thing, asking when and if they can jump in line, and each and every one of them all have very long, very touching, and very good reasons for asking.

Every single day.

Trust me.. It sucks.

The only thing that brings us back up in spirit is us knowing it will all be normal soon.

Watching the assembly and manufacturing team grow. Watching them get more efficient, watching them get faster.

Watching more and more CNC machines being delivered to Parker every week.

Watching the purchasing team extend their tentacles into every nook and cranny worldwide to find more and more vendors to assure no shortages of the over 80,000 components we need to build what we make.

Sitting with our mechanical, software and hardware engineers and watching them fix problems in an hour that used to take us a week.

Watching the Bombsquad grow from a single person just before we shipped the first R1 to the small army that is second to none that they have become now.

Watching the shipping department win logistic awards ahead of fortune 500 companies for the way they do what they do.

Watching the team get stronger. better. hungrier.

All of that is what lets us sleep at night.

OK. i changed my mind. Bet is off.

It is probably harder on you... only because you don't get to actually see any of the above and you can't actually see the light at the end of the tunnel like we do.

Trust me my friend.. that light is coming.. and holy shit is it bright.
 
Great post Jarred! Can you elaborate a little more about some expectations on new dates since some have come and gone for some things? I bet if you let us know some updates on expected dates now, you'll stop receiving so many emails. : )
