We expect to get through the grenade of backorders from the first weekend by the end of next week. There will be a lot of shipping notifications going out this week.

For orders placed after that first weekend we expect to catch up to all orders to date by the end of November.

Just remember.. these are all precision machined on CNC machines and have some complicated electro-mechanical bits in them.. they don't just pop out of magic casting ovens in wheelbarrow full quantities so they take a bit of time.

Honestly that could be worse...end of november worst case

I remember watching a doco on lockheed making the f-22 and falling months behind on the prototype behind because they were machining a one piece titanium bulkhead.....very slow and hard to machine

Took a self portrait tonight using the Canon EF50mm f/1.2L USM lens wide open, 1/50th second shutter at ISO 12,800 (that bright light you see behind me is a single 40W tungsten bulb):

The grain character of the Epic at this ISO level is amazingly good!! No fixed pattern noise at all!

Here's the same frame as an R3D still grab that you can play with, so you aren't biased by my color grading:
