Just thought i'd post something quick and short as i know we all want a Scarlet to start shooting some kick ass 4K , RAW and affordable footage.

Just be very careful from who you buy it from, not gonna name names but if it was me.

Get the camera ownership transferred in your name first
RED will then invoice you the ownership fee to make sure its in your name and get your 90 day warranty for camera
Then transfer the full amount

NO PROBLEMS FOR BOTH PARTIES
SELLER AND BUYER

Just thought i'd post that heads up

Its a very easy BIG Money scam not doing it this way

I'm not sure I understand. Why would the manufacturer invoice me if I buy a camera (or a tripod, car or anything else) from another individual?

Red operates as an escrow and registry for all Red cameras. If you are buying and selling a Red camera, Red should know about it.

Red will not transfer ownership of a camera unless it ha been shipped then returned for evaluation.

If you wait for the dragon this is probably quite important. But it seems a bit over due with the register and all since these cameras comes in such quantities and at such a low price.
