Erik, are the Birger mounts upgradeable?

[Harmonica]

Erik, you mentioned here that, come Q2 2008, you'll probably be releasing some details regarding an auto-focus feature on a future module.

Will the current mount be upgradeable, or will we have to buy the future mount to get the AF feature?

I know you said you wouldn't be giving any details, and the free remote is a great offer, but the answer to this question would definitely have an impact on making a decision about your mounts.

It is a system based concept. All modules are software upgradeable for the life of the system. The auto-interactive-focus module, will simply be a plug in accessory.

VERY cool. May you become fat and wealthy. Well at least wealthy.

That's great, Another company to follow RED concept of "build the hardware flexible and upgrade through software"
BTW are the Software upgrades are Free for the life of the system?(just like RED)

Beautiful! Just wanted to be sure. Thanks, Erik.
