  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EPIC-X STAGE 3 and 3.5 Now Begins...

So if price in invoice will be 29 000 USD and the cost of Stage 3 - 10500 but custom fee will be about 30% from 29000 it is about 9000 have to be payd additionally to 10500 after recieving Epic-x? 10500 for Stage 3 and else plus 9000 as custom fee?

30% of custom fees? where?
 
If you have a VAT registered company, you won't need to pay VAT to RED Europe -- AFAIK. The price will include freight to the UK and import duty charges (3.5%? 4.8%?), but no VAT. You'll also have to pay for shipping from the UK to your delivery address.

A private person doing a trade-in with RED Europe will pay VAT in addition to costs listed above, I believe. Again, I could be wrong.
 
Jarred that is exciting!

Van and I have a Red One that was already executed for stage 2, and was bought early in Red history. I would be pleasantly shocked if that were the case, but can we trade that same Red One for a second Epic price-reduction too?

If $5000 is required by Dec. 1st for a stage 3 deposit, when is the balance due?

So far my experience with importing into the EU is the following:

- Epic-M Brains - 0%
- 4x4.5" Filters - 0%
- Redvolts - 2.7%
- Preston HUI3 - 3.7%
- Kenyon K6 Gyro - 3.7%
- Visible dust etc. - 0%
- Redmote - 3.7%

Balance due when it is allocated to ship. You will get further instructions when you are notified to send in your Red One for trade in eval.

So if I will get Epic-X to Europe it will not be cost about 3-5K USD?

I suppose you got to pick the TARIC code yourself in that case. Which code did you give to the customs?
 
Sorry if I missed it in an earlier post... On Stage 3 trade in, provide the camera is in perfect working order but NOT MX'd, would we still receive the full $17,500 credit upon trade in?

I know some are affraid to speak but I can't be the only one who feels this way. What would seem fair is to put the new chip in before it ships.

I have to assume he is talking about Dragon, which if true...well I'm pretty sure you would have an aneurism and die if Epic X stage 3 wasn't complete before Dragon is ready to roll (as last I heard, is Q3-Q4 2012).
 
Dragon is later next year. Stage 3 will be complete much sooner.

Terrible question to you Mr. Jannard but, stage 4, I know there are different rollouts happening now, I am in line for one, Scarlet is awesome by the way, but here goes... Stage 4 comes out, we plop deposits down, is the wait awhile? Or will it be fairly quick? In other words Stage 4 comes out, which is for the old brain, unit doesn't start shipping until Dragon comes out, do we pay an upgrade or will it be included in the brain base price?
