  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EPIC-X at IBC...

Jarred, how big a bribe do you need for a shot of the next module?

your entire bank account + chocolate... hahaha...

We're all nuts but only cause we want pictures...
*chanting in background*
"we want pictures, we want pictures"

the good kind too...

I'd love to see a spinner of the two different i/o modules mentioned in a video from ibc... and also the data module...

Something got lost in translation. :-\

I didn't mean anything negative from either one of my posts. Sorry that they have come across that way.

Maybe because I'm an Aussie Haakon, but I got the tone of your posts and laughed along with you. Irony can be lost on some:thumbsup:

Hey Jarred, it's tough to tell which way the EVF LEMO is keyed. Is it keyed to point straight up with a 90˚ connector? If so, bravo. I modify every EVF I come across to point straight up.

yeah. that's the one. someone posted it over on scarletuser...

Bunch of people crowding the little table and Jarred talking... pretty informative actually... at least for me.

I think I mispoke when I said "data module". Jarred actually said "data connector" where you can use a red drive with it, or use a tethered option where you can have your module 500 feet away, etc.

EDIT: Actually, looks like your link is broken... here it is:

How long is the Epic - X fully kitted out with the, Spacer/Adaper, SSD drive module, the IO and the dual on board battery ? I've seen quite a few pictures with one or the other, but never a shot with both installed.

Thanks.

Store is open 9-5... when your there, ask them to beep me..

i vote for darker buttons and wheel on the EPIC remote

and jim i love your work but
i think there are to many/to big/to red redlogos on the epic
EVF , handle etc.

i like more the understated logostyle on the redone
the rest of the epic looks very nice :-) but this brings a more semi-pro look
